Beaumont local wins $500K on LOTTO MAX through PlayAlberta!

Cindy Boehm won $500,000 in the August 20 LOTTO MAX draw after purchasing her ticket through PlayAlberta!

The Beaumont local said she loved finding out about her win via email and phone call.

“It really takes the guesswork out,” she said. “I was shocked, and I think I didn’t sleep for a few days!”

Boehm has been playing with PlayAlberta for some time.

“I usually play LOTTO MAX and LOTTO 6/49,” she explained.

Purchasing online through PlayAlberta means Boehm never had to worry about checking a ticket in store on her app following a draw—the winner simply was notified of her win and the claim process began there.

“This will be very helpful,” she said. “I’m not sure how I’ll spend it! I’m just still shocked, and it’s really true that it doesn’t feel real at first!”
