POKER LOTTO winner jumps for joy over $100K win!

Kenneth Morris won $100,002 on the September 5 POKER LOTTO draw! 

The Thorsby local said he typically plays the game as a way to connect with friends. 

“I buy a few times a week and have coffee time with the guys!” he said.  

When he checked this ticket, he won $2 on one of the hands, and almost missed the rest of his prize! 

“[The screen] said it was a $2 win, so I checked it with the clerk,” he said. “I didn’t notice until everyone there was celebrating and telling me I had won big!” 

“We saw the $100,000 win and we all started to jump around,” he chuckled. “I phoned my wife to tell her, and everyone was screaming and celebrating at the store!” 

The new winner has big plans for his big win as well: “I’m going to take a trip somewhere warm,” he said. “The rest will go into savings!” 

“It just feels fantastic,” he added. “Unbelievable!” 

Morris purchased his winning POKER LOTTO ticket at Sandholm Corner Store located at 47404 HWY 778 in Thorsby. He won his prize by matching all five cards drawn in the September 5 nightly draw: three of spades, eight of spades, two of clubs, Queen of clubs, and five of diamonds.
